I was also lucky enough to hit the mystery progressive and also held my breath as I waited to see if it was the minor or major....well it was the minor ($403), but immediately after awarding the minor it awarded the major ($9 599)....on the SAME spin!!! I didn’t even know this was possible!!! Anyone else ever heard of this?!?? I was in total disbelief! Gave me the major as a handpay and minor went in the machine As credits. Best win I’ve ever had - total - $10 003
Any ideas what the odds of this happening might be??
Thanks all - this look like an interesting forum - I look forward to exploring this website!
Do you have any additional information about the machine? I.e. the range of the progressives or the meter rate?
Have no idea on how many types of machines this is possible, or just a few games by one manufacturer.
Minor ranges $350-$500
Major ranges $9000-$10 000
Found this very useful thread here about this type of machine

This discusses target points of the progressives but I don’t think I see anything about winning both together - just curious if it is more likely to win both together or extremely rare
This was the $1 denomination ones
Minor ranges $350-$500
Major ranges $9000-$10 000

Hi all can’t believe it but yesterday I was playing the mustang money 2 $1 denomination machine.

It would make sense for the minor to be awarded first on these machines, because the minor is more likely to be moved first. If someone were to bet $20, the minor would move roughly for $2, the major after at least $5, and would need to move a few times, more if from a higher bet. Definitely depends on the bet, a small bet such as a dollar would only move both occasionally once, but higher bets many times.I've never even remember anyone mentioning this before, for all we know, you may be the only one it has ever happened for, or at least the only one to ever brag about it.
